RFDC holds occasional joint events
that bring our member groups together
to share dances – along with food
and fellowship – in a party atmosphere.
We traditionally celebrate the new year with a Midwinter Party in January. COVID-19 interrupted that tradition, but we’re resuming it with our 17th (not exactly annual) Midwinter Dance Party on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, 15 Clinton Heights Avenue, Columbus OH 43202. Each RFDC member group will teach a couple of dances, so you can try a whole dance smorgasbord at a single event. Download the flier here.
National Dance Day now falls on the third Saturday in September; in 2025 it will be the 20th. RFDC may plan a joint event; check back here in the summer. Meanwhile, we encourage everyone to dance ANY day.
